The Burren Walking Lodge is located in minutes from the quaint Irish village of Ballyvaughan, County Clare. Ballyvaughan is located on the west coast of Clare south of Galway and along the N67 road and is located 39km north from the town of Ennis Co. Clare. Shannon International Airport, Galway Airport and Knock International Airport are the most convenient if flying directly into the West of Ireland. Ferry from Kerry A 20 minute journey by ferry will take you from Tarbert in North Kerry across the Shannon Estuary to Killimer in County Clare will save you 137km. from ferry terminal to terminal. The ferry leaves Killimer every hour on the hour and Tarbert every hour on the half hour. No reservations are necessary.
