The old wing of the hotel has been demolished including the existing reception, bar, restaurant, kitchen, and the 50 original bedrooms. In its place we are constructing a fabulous 8 storey building encompassing 130 stylish new superior bedrooms, Cobblestones Bistro, Guinness Lounge, brand new conference rooms and all the necessary facilities. In the meantime, we very much want to maintain continuity to our business and continue to provide services to our customers. We have provided an alternative reception, restaurant and bar all located on the 2nd floor, which we are delighted to say has been very well received by guests to date. The multi storey car park (free to residents) will be in operation as usual along with several meeting rooms. The hotel entrance can now be accessed from Montpelier Hill at the rear of Parkgate Street, dont worry it is well sign posted!During the period of construction the hotel will be doing everything to minimise any possible disturbance or disruption to guests. Walk westward along the north quays of the River Liffey as far as Wolfe Tone Quay. Turn right onto Parkgate Street, where the hotel is situated. By Car From OConnell Street, drive westward along the quays on the River Liffey. At Victoria Quay in front of Heuston Rail Station, turn right across the River Liffey. Once across the river turn right and then immediately left. At the first traffic lights turn left. The hotel and hotel car park are on your right. Journey time is approximately 5 minutes.There are numerous taxi ranks located in the city centre, including OConnell Street, Dame Street and St Stephens Green. Continue to the toll bridge. Go through the toll (EUR1.80) and take the next exit off the M50 immediately after the toll bridge. Turn left onto the N4 in the direction of the city centre. Continue for approximately 4 miles until you come to Heuston Rail Station on your left. The road curves left around the station, bringing you across the River Liffey. Once across the bridge, turn right and then immediately left. At the first traffic lights turn left. The hotel and hotel car park are on your right.
