The Coach House Hotel is a new boutique-style hotel situated in Oranmore, Galway. The Hotel opened in July 2007, and consists of sixteen en-suite bedrooms, the House Bistro which has already gained a superb reputation for its classic dishes, and a modern hotel bar. Parking is on-site and Galway city is 10 minutes away. A sixteen-bedroomed hotel in the heart of Oranmore Village, The Coach House, although newly-built, incorporates much of the original structure of an old Coach House used for the distribution of ale as far back as the 1930s. Many of the features of this old building can be seen throughout the hotel, particularly in the House Bar where the fusion of the old stonework and luxurious new furnishings has been accomplished with perfection. The use of candlelight in the rear section of the bar adds to the authentic feel of the Coach House, and creates an intimate atmosphere which must be seen to be appreciated. The front section of the House Bar is furnished with luxurious tub-style seating, and a feature fireplace adds to the fantastic atmosphere of this unique bar. The House Bar is frequented by locals and guests alike, and the weekend atmosphere of Oranmore has to be experienced here.
