About County Clare
County Clare is located on the west coast of Ireland in the Shannon region and is affectionately known as Clare. The Burren is a region of County Clare which includes the cliffs of Moher on the Atlantic coast which offer spectacular views and are one of Irelands most visited natural attractions. Explore the river Shannon to the south east or Lough Derg to the North East. The pretty ancient town of Ennis is the largest town in Clare and boasts lots of fine restaurants, lively pubs and historic buildings to visit.
